Supporting Charities

Working with Charities

The Jancett Group support local and national charities throughout the year fundraising in our nurseries, clubs and training centres. Our staff and apprentices regularly take part in charity events including The Marsden March and we support and fundraise for The Royal Marsden and Cocos Foundation.

In 2014 we launched our company mascot, Jazzy the Elephant and in conjunction with the launch of Jazzy, our nurseries and clubs adopted Elephants with the Born Free Foundation.

Ewok is an elephant who lives in the Amboseli park in Kenya at the foot of Kilimanjaro and is supported by the Born Free Foundation. Jancett Day Nurseries have sponsored the charity by becoming an adoptive parent to Ewok.

Our Playsafe clubs have become adoptive parents to Madhavi, a female elephant who was orphaned as a baby and now lives in the Elephant Transit Home in Sri Lanka.

By supporting The Born Free Foundation and adopting Elephants Ewok and Madhavi we aim to educate the children, staff and learners at our nurseries and clubs about the valuable work Born Free do and also tie in with our much loved company mascot, Jazzy.
