Park Lane, Carshalton

It is with great sadness that we are coming to the end of our nursery journey with Jancett. Park Lane has been a second home for our daughters since our eldest, joined in January 2022, and then her sister is September 2022, and the love and warmth shown to our girls has been the most wonderful aspect of their nursery experience. The team at Park Lane are truly outstanding practitioners who take pride in all that they do, and both girls have thrived in their care. Our eldest is flourishing at school and our youngest is very much school ready ahead of time, and we credit the nursery team for this. Kelly is an inspirational manager and clearly harnesses her team to perform at their best. She has been a supportive and friendly ear and always has time to speak about the children and how they are getting on. We have also been so very lucky that both our girls have had the opportunity to learn with Amy and Jordan. What a fabulous duo of teaching staff they are! The joy that radiates from Rainbow room is so clear to see, and the positive influence that they have both had on our girls is wonderful. They have such special bonds with the children and are clearly adored by them all. Rainbow Room is such a happy space; a lovely balance of EYFS learning and play and just a sea of happy faces at pick up time. Our girls also learnt all the words to many Christmas songs and pop songs during their time in Rainbow Room and I couldn’t be more grateful to the team knowing how much fun they must have had every week dancing away during their physical activity time! Listening to their voices in the car singing loudly tells me all I need to know about the confidence they have gained whilst being at Park Lane. Very much a sign of a great team who know what the children need at different times of the day. What has been most wonderful is how a child is still part of the Park Lane family even once they leave. The team always ask after our eldest and make such a fuss of her when we collect them together, and she still cherishes her time spent at nursery. We feel so lucky to have been able to spend the past 4.5 years at the nursery and saying a final goodbye in July will be so incredibly hard to do. We couldn’t be more grateful for all the care that our children have received and we will always be so thankful to you all for giving them such a great start in life.

Jancett Park Lane parent feedback

I wanted to thank all of the staff at Jancett 0-2s, especially Millie, Beth, Emily, Belinda and Nikki, who have really helped my son settle into nursery so well, since he started in September. We love seeing all of the photo updates and hearing all about his day when we pick him up - it’s lovely to see how enthusiastic everyone is about him and the activities they have done with him and it really helps reassure us that he is well looked after and loved. Millie, in particular, is a shining star - she is always so welcoming, cheerful and encouraging. The bunny rabbits are a great idea and all of the painting and other activities have really helped him bloom. He also seems to love the food at nursery (he does generally love food though to be fair)! So thank you again for such excellent care and staff - your ethos shines through them and you stand out compared to other nurseries I have heard about from friends.

Staff have good relationships with parents and keep them involved in their children's learning. For instance, parents have access to an online app where they receive regular photos and observations of their children. Staff also provide regular talks to support parents at home, including talks about behaviour management, healthy eating, sleep and school readiness.

Park Lane is a fabulous nursery; the staff are all wonderful and the setting is so happy and joyful. My children have thrived there, and we are so grateful for the outstanding care they have received.

Happy staff showing up every day with big smiles and welcoming arms for every child. It makes such a difference at drop off to see a friendly face guiding my child into the setting. I think Kelly has created a positive ethos at Park Lane and it is evidenced by the fact there are so many staff who have been there for as long as both my children have been. It’s really reassuring.

Our daughter started in January and has loved her time so far. She has made great connections with the staff and other children in her room. She has learnt so much and enjoys playing in the garden . Jancett Stanley Park Road is a wonderful, homely environment and I am pleased she has settled so well.

It was the best decision I made to send my baby to nursery at 8 months. This has helped my child with developmental skills from sitting unaided, crawling, talking and walking. Besides making friends they have gained more confidence and independence.

Children are happy and settled. They have lovely relationships with staff, who give lots of praise and encouragement throughout the day to support children's confidence and self-esteem.

Ofsted quote

Staff support children's early communication skills effectively and are good role models for language. They speak slowly and clearly to young children, describing what they can see or are doing. With older children, staff introduce new words to extend children's vocabulary and encourage them to talk with each other.

Our daughter settled well into the baby room and made an easy transition up to the toddler room where she is an active member of her class. She loves going to nursery and we are so happy and reassured by the team at Park Lane.

I had both my children with Jancett Ross Road. The staff were really caring and took great care of them. They also had great learning and engaging activities for children which helped in my children's development and preparing them for school. I’m more than happy to recommend Jancett to any new parents!

I just wanted to send an email and say a huge thank you to everyone at Ross Road for the support and care they have shown as we attended for the last 4 years. All the staff we encountered throughout our time truly made us feel that they were invested in our daughters growth and development from day one. The whole nursery process was made so easy for all of us, with so much peace of mind that she was happy and safe with all of you throughout the time she was there. She’s just completed her first week at school, her confidence has astounded me and she’s not given me a second look back as she’s gone through to her class. I can only endlessly thank you for the part you’ve played in nurturing her and building her into such a confident little girl.

Our daughter started a year ago full time and we could not be happier with the nursery. I really couldn't fault any area and my daughter is always excited to attend.

Thank you all for the festive fun on Saturday. We all had a great time. It was so well organised with so much entertainment for the children and different ways to get involved. Well done to all involved and hope you all managed to have a good rest afterwards! Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas break when it comes and thank you for all your hard work and support as always this year, it’s been a big adjustment for us as a family and we feel lucky that our girls are so happy.

The Jancett team make a lovely environment where our child gets to know all the staff so any room transition is easy. They love all the staff! I also like how they socialise with all the other rooms, older and younger and spend lots of time outdoors.

My daughter has spent a wonderful 3 years at Jancett Ross Road. All of the staff are so approachable and nurturing and she has come on leaps and bounds. She is now starting school and I’m confident that she is ‘school ready’ and it will be a smooth transition for her. Thank you to all of the staff for making this happen!

Would like to thank the whole team at Park Lane for the love and care they have provided to my child and myself. Our child started in Bunnies at Park Lane a few days before they turned 9 months and they have been well supported and cared for. I feel confident dropping off each morning as I leave for work as I know they are safe and well cared for.

As we prepare for this exciting new chapter, I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for the care, kindness, and support you have shown my son during his time at Stanley Park Road Nursery. He has grown so much, both in confidence and development, and we are truly grateful for the positive impact you have had on his early years. It is never easy saying goodbye to a place that has been such an important part of his journey. We will always look back on his time at the nursery with fond memories and appreciation for all the wonderful staff who have helped him learn, grow, and feel happy and safe every day.

My son started at Ross Road Gardens in September (at 15 months), and I can confidently say that I am extremely happy with this nursery. I was initially a little apprehensive because it had only recently opened, but it has exceeded all expectations — my son absolutely loves going! The team is incredibly communicative. Every day, I receive live updates on his naps, toileting, and meals. In addition, parents are sent weekly overviews outlining what the children have been learning, along with plenty of photos (usually 8 or more). This is fantastic, as it gives me a real insight into his day — especially helpful since he isn’t yet able to communicate these things himself. Not many nurseries offer this level of detail in my experience with my eldest, so this is a big win for me. The staff at Ross Road Gardens are genuinely lovely — always friendly, always welcoming, and always happy to share what my son has been up to when my partner or I collect him. Megan, Jodie, Charmaine, Summer, and Lok — your hard work does not go unnoticed, and we truly appreciate everything you do!

My child has been with Stanley Park Road nursery for nearly a year now and the transition was smoother than we could have imagined. It was clear that he felt safe and happy as soon as he started and that in turn has made us feel happy with his care. All staff are very warm, welcoming, and caring and they always update us about his day and progress. The number of photo updates we get are an amazing asset of this practice and make us feel involved and know what our little baby has been up to! We would like to thank everyone for their hard work, support and genuine care shown for our child.

My son is enjoying Jancett so much. When he moved to the green room, he can't wait to go to the nursery. His speech is coming out and the staff in the green room are very prepared and knowledgeable. At the end of the day they know everything what my son has done. This means that they are interacting with the children.
